Sunset Wilds is the final course in the Lightning Cup in Mario Kart: Super Circuit. It takes place at dusk in the desert. By the third lap, the sun sets and the sky turns starry and dark in the desert. Hazards here are Shy Guys, which dwell in tents and can grab onto a player's kart and take coins from the player if not careful. They also cause slowdown of players' karts. The track returns in Mario Kart Tour, first appearing in the Sunset Tour. It also returns in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as the second course of the Cherry Cup in the Booster Course Pass.
