Mario Party

Sunday Drivers is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 6. It also appears as the seventh minigame played in Decathlon Park. The minigame's name is a pun on "Sunday drivers", which is a term to perceive a person diving in a slow and unskilful way, and 'driver', which is a type of golf club.

Layout[]

The minigame is set in a grassy stadium with flowers and mushrooms, with Goombas as spectators. There is also a building in the background.

Opening[]

The camera pans from the sky to the field below with the players holding their golf clubs. One by one, each of the players hit golf balls.

Gameplay[]

Normal[]

The aim of the game is to be the first player to get 10 successful golf ball hits. Shy Guys behind each player will inform them of which buttons to press to hit a golf ball, so the player must press said button, which are all randomized after each turn. If the player presses the wrong button, then the player's golf ball will only roll off the side once hit, and will not count. It's possible for all players to win the minigame at the same time technically, but only one random winner will be chosen.

Decathlon Park[]

The aim of the game is similar to normal gameplay, but this time, the player must score as many points as they can, with the maximum amount of points to score is 1,000, and the default score is set to 10.

Ending[]

The camera zooms in on the victor as they do their victory dance.
