The Suitcase is a is an object item that appears in Super Mario series. It is used by Mario and Luigi, given by Toadsworth as they can use it to find or acquire items, badges, and clothes, and keep them inside the suitcase, as well as their map and passports during their travel on the Beanbean Kingdom. It has a major role on Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its remake on the title screen.

The Suitcase would be replaced by Stuffwell in the sequel, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. By the time of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and later Mario & Luigi series, the suitcase concept is replaced by a simple menu from which the player can access the features of the suitcase.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga/Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions[]

Mario was about to walk to the Koopa Cruiser until Toadsworth caught up to him and brought the Suitcase too him. Meanwhile, Luigi was mistaken to be part of the Koopa Cruiser. Bowser instructed Mario and Luigi to press Select Button to open their suitcase and arrange their stuff.

Mario and Luigi went pass by Bowser's minions having passports, the photographer halted Mario and Luigi. He instructed them to open their Suitcase and he checked through the Suitcase and realized that they do not have passports and allows them to cut in line.

The Suitcase was used for different items and the Beanbean Map.
