The Suction Shot is a move in Luigi's Mansion 3.
Description[]
Luigi can use the move while equipped with the Poltergust G-00. Using it involves Luigi shooting out a suction cup with a long string attached, and the suction cup can attach to certain objects. If the suction cup sticks, Luigi can use the Poltergust G-00 to yank the string and then smash the object onto the ground.

To have Luigi shoot out the suction cup, the player must press 
. If the suction cup sticks to an object, the player can have Luigi pull back and then press 
for him to smash the object onto the ground, similarly to whenever Luigi smashes a ghosts. This move is especially useful for destroying furniture, pulling weapons away from ghosts, and uncovering hidden gems.
The Suction Shot has an unlockable variation named Suction Shot Type B, turning the plunger into a diamond plunger. Suction Shot Type B can also be used against ghosts, which causes them to get their face stuck in the suction cup. Afterwards, by yanking the string and pressing , the ghost becomes dizzy, making it easier for Luigi to vacuum it. The Suction Shot can stick to Goobs, Oozers, and Slinkers.
The Suction Shot has an unlockable add-on called the Suction Shot Type-C, which can be unlocked by collecting every Gem.
