Strong Slammers are enemies that appear in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. They are stronger versions of Slammers, due to the power crystals found in the Secret Mine.

Profile[]

Physical description[]

Strong Slammers are identical to Slammers, but they have light-red marks all over their bodies.

Behavior[]

Like Slammers, Strong Slammers attack mainly by clapping their hands together to send a powerful red shockwave at Luigi. Strong Slammers are much tougher to vacuum up into the Poltergust 5000, requiring more effort. It is also recommended for Luigi to try and vacuum up more than one Strong Slammer at a time.

In Luigi's Mansion series[]

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon[]

Strong Slammers are first encountered in the Secret Mine, during the mission, Hit Rock Bottom. The next mission, Across the Chasm, has a Strong Slammer, a Strong Gobber, and a Strong Greenie, all covered in paranormal chains, serve as the sub-bosses. Unlike other Strong Slammers, this one has 250 HP, and is found in the Chalet, but three Greenies need to be taken care of before confronting it.

More Strong Slammers appear in various missions of the Treacherous Mansion, and the ScareScraper, when played on expert difficulty or endless mode.

Luigi's Mansion Arcade[]

Strong Slammers make a reappearance in Luigi's Mansion Arcade. They are encountered in the Old Clockworks and Treacherous Mansion. They behave like regular Slammers in said game, but their HP is buffed to 35.
