Stone Doohickey

A Stone Doohickey is an obstacle in Wario World.

Description[]

Stone Doohickeys are tall, light red pillars with a crest of the Black Jewel on top. In each level, a Stone Doohickey guards a goal trapdoor leading to the boss, and the only way for Wario to get rid of it is by bringing a certain number of Red Diamonds to it. In doing so, the Stone Doohickey disappears, allowing Wario to proceed to fight the boss.

In Wario World[]

A Stone Doohickey appears in all eight courses. The first two courses, Greenhorn Forest and Greenhorn Ruins, both in Excitement Central, require three Red Diamonds for the Stone Doohickey to move. Both courses in each world increases the Red Diamond requirement by one: Horror Manor and Wonky Circus of Spooktastic World each require four; Shivering Mountains and Beanstalk Way of Thrillsville each require five; and Mirror Mansion and Pecan Sands of Sparkle Land each require six Red Diamonds.
