Luigi's Mansion

Stones are an item in Luigi's Mansion and its Nintendo 3DS version.

Description[]

There are three types of stones—Blue Stones, Green Stones, and Red Stones—worth 500,000G, 800,000G, and 1,000,000G respectively. Aside from their difference in color and value, there are no other differences between the three stones.

In Luigi's Mansion[]

Luigi can find the Stones through various means: watering certain plants; examining certain objects, which can include buckets, gutters, and gold chandeliers; catching Speedy Spirits; and being released from green treasure chests alongside other treasures. The Hidden Room is the only room that features all three types of stones.

There are a total of thirty Stones, ten of which are Red, Green, and Blue respectively, totaling 23,000,000G. One more Green Stone was added to the Nintendo 3DS version, making a new total of 23,800,000G. In the PAL version's Hidden Mansion, there are only five of each type of Stone, halving the total to fifteen Stones, because the majority of Speedy Spirits and Gold Mice drop Blue Diamonds instead.
