Starborn Valley is a location in Paper Mario in the Shiver Region where Star Kids are born. When Mario first comes, the Star Kids aren't ascending into Star Haven.
Layout
Starborn Valley is mainly a small town covered in snow. There is also three houses: an Inn, a house with a Ninji inside, and Merle's house.
History
After defeating the Monstar, Mario and his friends arrive at Starborn Valley where they meet up with Merle. Merle instructs Mario to enter his house with him also apologizing for the Star Kids behavior earlier. Merle then explains to Mario that the last Star Spirit is being held at the Crystal Palace. He also gives Mario the Scarf as a key to getting to the palace.
