Star Candies, as their name implies, have a star shape. They are orange and have a shiny look.
Usage[]
The strongest item is used to restore 999 HP and SP. Even cures all ailments. Dark Mechawfuls have a chance dropping it. When the Mighty Meteor is executed perfectly, it can be rewarded. This is found in Blizzard Midbus, Bowser Memory ML (only in Bowser Memory M), Dark Fawful, Dark Star, Shroob and Wisdurm.
In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, this item is replaced by Cheese Chicken for Bowser use.
Other Appearances[]
Star Candies make a return in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, but their healing values have been divided into four levels. The weakest variant restores 40%, the Super variant heals 60%, the Ultra variant heals 80%, and the Max variant is essentially the original version from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story but without the ability to cure status ailments. This is retained in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam.
