Star Balloon

A Star Balloon is a recurring object in the Mario Party series. It first appears in Mario Party: Star Rush and returns in Mario Party: The Top 100.

Description[]

Star Balloons are a type of balloon shaped exactly like a Star with a string attached to it. Characters can find Star Balloons when they float down to a space on the board. Star Balloons serve a similar role to Star Space of preceding Mario Party games, although function differently than them: When a character passes a Star Balloon, they are offered to purchase a Star for 10 coins, although some Star Balloons offer two to five Stars instead of one, in which case the character can purchase a multiple of them at an added price of 10 coins each. Whenever Star Balloons are used up, they vanish, but more Star Balloons eventually replace them on the board.
