The Standard TD is Toad's standard kart appearing in Mario Kart DS. His non-standard karts are his Mushmellow and his 4-Wheel Cradle. The Standard TD is heavily based of the Toad Kart from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, as it has similar shape, style and color. The only difference is that it no longer features the handlebar.

The Standard TD features great Acceleration, but is slow and is farily Light. Its Handling, Drift and Items are averagely balanced.
Its weight is equivalent to Luigi's Poltergust 4000 and Dry Bones' Banisher and it shares its drift with Bowser's Standard BW. It shares its items stat with all other characters' standard karts.
