Stage 1 is the first level in Donkey Kong Jr..

Appearance

Stage 1 is a large stage with many climbable vines around. There are also four small trees at the bottom of the screen that acts as platforms.

Hazards

• Snapjaws: The only enemy in this level. Three red Snapjaws are already present on the stage but Mario can summon blue colored ones to attack Donkey Kong Jr. They can be taken down by dropping fruit on them but they should be avoided.
