Spinthra is an enemy which appears in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Spinthras are large, spider-like enemies that can be found in Land's End and Bean Valley. They are a stronger variant of Arachnes.

Spinthras mainly attack by biting a single member of Mario's party. However, their main technique is to use the move Poison in order to poison a party member. They can also bite someone turning them into a scarecrow.

Strategy

Spinthras are weak to ice meaning Mallow's Snowy is effective against them. Using an Ice Bomb is also effective.
