Spindrifts are creatures appearing in Super Mario 64 .  They function like the Spin Block from New Super Mario Bros .

Behaviour

Spindrifts bounce anyone who jumps on their head into the air.  Afterward, that character will float down while spinning.  Destroying a Spindrift is impossible.

Trivia

• Their design is similar to a Floralian from Kirby Triple Deluxe , but this is a coincidence.
• Torkdrift somewhat resembles a Spindrift, despite his being a robot.
