Spiky Gummits are a variant of Gummit and an enemy in Super Mario Galaxy 2.

A Spiky Gummit has a purple body, yellow eyes, and a few yellow spikes placed around its body.
In Super Mario Galaxy 2[]
Spiky Gummits are encountered in Freezy Flake Galaxy, during the mission The Chimp's Skating Challenge, and Shiverburn Galaxy, during the mission The Chimp's Ultimate Skating Challenge. They appear here along with Gummits and Golden Gummits, but unlike them, Spiky Gummits must be avoided by Mario or Luigi, otherwise they get knocked back, costing them at least a second in the timed challenge. Despite possessing spikes over their body, Spiky Gummits cannot damage Mario or Luigi.
