The Spiked Link is a spiked metal ball on a chain. It is one of Bowser's most powerful weapons, although his strongest and ultimate weapon is Drill Claw. Equipping the Spiked Link increases Bowser's Attack power by 30.
When using the Spiked Link in battle, Bowser swings it in circles, as he would with a Chomp, and then throws it at the targeted enemy. If a Timed Hit is performed, the background flashes in white for the last animation, and the Spiked Link's spikes extend the moment it hits an enemy, dealing more damage to it.
