Mario Party
Not to be confused with Blue Space.

The Special Dice Block Space is a recurring space in the Mario Party series. It first appears in Mario Party 9, in which it is named the Dice Block Space, then in Mario Party 10 under its current name.

Description[]

Special Dice Block Spaces usually have an identical appearance to a regular Blue Space. When a Captain lands onto one, they receive either a 0-1 Dice Block, a 1-2-3 Dice Block, a 4-5-6 Dice Block, a 1-10 Dice Block, or a Slow Dice Block from a small, red box. At times, the box also contains a few Mini Stars or initiates a Free-for-All minigame, which can also start if the Captain lands onto a Free-for-All Space.

Exclusively in Mario Party 10, landing onto a Special Dice Block Space activates a roulette, allowing the player's character to receive a corresponding Dice Block instead of a random one. The Special Dice Block Space appears in each of the three board game-based modes, but amiibo Party mode specifically redesigns it to depict a blank Dice Block.
