Special 2-2 is the fifty-third level of the game Super Mario 3D Land. It is the second level of the game's optional "special" worlds accessible only after beating the final level of the game's story mode. This level is subject to the special level conditions; this one only giving you 30 seconds, with you having to collect the blue 10-second time bonuses.
Layout[]
Although this level begins on land you are soon having to delve deep into a pond-like area with Bloopers, the only exit being a Green Pipe. This takes you to an area with both underwater and on land locations. There is an area where you have to dodge Bloopers and swerve net fences, before a green pipe at the end of the level takes you to the Flagpole.

Star Medals[]
- Star Medal 1: The first medal can be obtained next to the long block and Blooper swimming up and down.
- Star Medal 2: The second medal is behind a net fence and can be quickly obtained by jumping on a bouncing block.
- Star Medal 3: The last medal is just before the green pipe that takes you to the flagpole. To obtain it you have to bounce off of the wall because it is high up on two wooden blocks.
