Special 1-2 is the forty-eighth level of the game Super Mario 3D Land.
Layout[]
The overall layout of Special 1-2, like Special 1-1 was to World 2-1, is based nearly entirely on World 1-2. Though like Special 1-1, the level does include several differences from its initial counterpart – including tougher enemies and more spikes. Like the previous level, Special 1-2 includes a Cosmic Clone of Mario that will follow Mario until it can bump into him to damage him; however, after one attack, it will continue to follow Mario for another.

Star Medals[]
- Star Medal 1: The first Star Medal is found atop the large square of blocks near the beginning of the level, however, the blocks break upon Mario's landing on them.
- Star Medal 2: The second Star Medal is being circled around by a large, spiked bar that Mario must jump over to obtain the coin.
- Star Medal 3: The final Star Medal is found shortly after the second. By using the first bouncy platform, Mario can jump over a chasm to collect this coin.
