Sort It Out is one of the microgames in Dribble and Spitz's Fantasy level in WarioWare: Get It Together!.

Layout[]

The background consists of a clear sky with visible stars in the sky. Clouds can be seen at the very bottom. There is a large jar on the bottom-left and bottom-right each, accompanied by an angel with pink hair on the left side and a demon with dark purple hair on the right, respectively. In the center is a cloud-like platform that can be tilted. There is also a large down arrow sign with a thick, yellow border that hangs from a yellow pole sticking from the left and right sides of the screen respectively. The left side of the display has a pink tint, for the angel, and the right side has a purple tint, for the devil.

There are also objects falling from the upper center, which can include donuts and cakes, shooting stars and moons, and unicorns and pegasi.

Gameplay[]

The player's character must sort the falling objects into the appropriate jars based on which picture is shown on the sign. To get the objects to fall into the jars, the player's character must either tilt the cloud platform that the objects land on or move the object itself. Once all objects have been sorted, the player wins at the microgame. This is indicated by a rainbow appearing, and the angel and devil are shown to be happy. If the player's character does not correctly sort the items, they lose at the microgame, and the angel and devil are shown to be sad or disappointed.

In two-player mode, whoever correctly sorts more objects upon winning the microgame receives an effort point. If both players each correctly sort one object in Level 1, neither of them receive an effort point. If either player's character incorrectly sorts an object, they lose an effort point.

Difficulty levels[]

  • Level 1: Two objects have to be sorted.
  • Level 2: Three objects have to be sorted, and one of them is already on the cloud platform by the time the microgame starts.
  • Level 3: Similar to Level 2, except the picture on each sign is silhouetted, so the objects have to be sorted depending on their outline.

Mission[]

  • A Cloudless Day: The player has to carry or push all of the objects into the correct jars without them touching the cloud platform. Despite the mission description specifying "falling objects", objects already on the platform (in Levels 2 and 3) also count, meaning this can only be accomplished in Level 1.
