A Soopa Striker (スーパーシューター Super Shooter?) is a Koopa Troopa enemy in Super Paper Mario. Soopa Strikers are stronger than Koopa Strikers.


A Soopa Striker is a Koopa Troopa related to the Koopa Striker. Its clothing is complementary to the Koopa Striker. It wears grey-and-white striped T-shirt and shoes, and grey shorts. Its black-and-white-checkered shell is reminiscent to the soccer ball. It has black eyebrows unlike the Koopa Striker and Toopa Striker.

When the player approaches the Soopa Striker, it will kick a shell towards to player. The player can counter the shell and shoot it towards the Soopa Striker. The player can stomp the enemy. Additionally, the Pixls can defeat the enemy. The Soopa Striker may drop the Turtley Leaf upon its defeat.


Soopa Striker is a pun of super and Koopa Striker. Super means above in Latin. This refers to Soopa Strikers stronger than Koopa Strikers.

The player can summon the Catch Card/SP to defeat the Soopa Striker. The player can also buy the Soopa Striker's Catch Card in the Card shop.


Soopa Strikers were Koopa Troop members. In Bowser's Castle, Count Bleck teleported the Koopa Troop, Bowser, Princess Peach and Luigi to Castle Bleck. After Bowser and Peach's "wedding", Nastasia brainwashed the Koopa Strikers to serve Bleck.
