Snowman's Land
Snowman's Land is the tenth course in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS.
Layout
Snowman's Land's defining feature is large snowman in the center of the field. The snowman can blow large gusts of winds, capable of sending Mario great distance and causing him to lose his hat. The water in Snowman's Land is dangerously cold, and it drains Mario's health meter while he is in it, however, there is some patches of water which have become completely frozen. There are also slabs of ice that are cold enough to knock out a third of Mario's health meter. In one corner of the level there is a canyon that has winds strong enough to push Mario short distances.
Trivia
- The course's name, Snowman's Land, is a portmanteau of the word "snowman", referring to the large snowman in the center of the course, and the phrase "no man's land", which often refers to an inhospitable region.
Stars
Star 1 Snowman's Big Head
Go right and past the snow bully. Mario'll reach the pond there is a snow covered path jump over the hills here and carefully navigate the path upward. From here, Mario will reach an icy pass with a penguin walking on it. Mario should jump on top of the penguin and jump off as he stops or else he'd get blown to the starting point and lose his hat. Once past, Mario should go and navigate up the final slope of the path, then Mario gets the first star of this world.
Star 2 Chill With The Bully
Begin by going right as you did for Star 1 you'll see a frozen lake on top of an ice platform and battle the Ice Bully as you did the Big Bully in Lethal Lava Land. Be warned not to land on the frozen lake, though as it is so cold it will knock out 1/3 of your health each time Mario lands on it.
