Mario Party

Snow Brawl is a 1-vs.-3 minigame in Mario Party 6. It later returns in Super Mario Party Jamboree.

Opening[]

The three teammates try to throw snowballs at the solo character, but they miss. The solo character runs into the back corner of their side, and four Ukikis jump into the arena. During the nighttime in Mario Party 6 only, Shy Guys appear instead.

Gameplay[]

The object of the minigame is to hit all playable characters on the other side of the field with a snowball. The solo character is assisted by four computer-controlled Ukikis. In Mario Party 6 only, during the nighttime, the solo character is assisted by Shy Guys instead. Each player must first create a snowball before they can throw it. Any players hit by a snowball become encased in solid ice, eliminating them from the minigame.

In order to win, the solo character must hit all team players, and the three opposing players must hit the lone player (the four Ukikis or Shy Guys do not need to be hit to win). The first side to fulfill their objective wins. However, if either time runs out or if both the solo character and the last remaining teammate freeze are each hit by a snowball simultaneously, it is a draw.

Ending[]

If the solo character wins, they and any Ukikis or Shy Guys who are not frozen each perform a victory animation. If the team of three wins, any teammate not frozen performs their victory animation, while any Ukikis or Shy Guys who are not frozen perform their sad poses. If time runs out, the remaining characters each perform their losing animation.
