Template:Enemy Snapjaws are enemies that appear in Donkey Kong Jr. They are enemies that can be summoned by Mario and appear in nearly every level in the game.
Appearance
Snapjaws seem to be living beartaps with teeth. They appear in the colors red and blue.
Summary
Snapjaws will commonly move around the stage trying to bite Donkey Kong Jr. They are able to climb up and down vines and appear to actively chase after the young Kong if he is near. Red Snapjaws are usually already on the stage only moving around in a certain area. The blue ones are summoned by Mario and will go straight down vines.
Trivia
- The Snapjaws look similar in appearance to the Klaptraps that will later appear as common enemies in the Donkey Kong series.
- The Snapjaws replace the role of the Fireballs from the first Donkey Kong game.
