Physical description[]

A Smolderin' Stu is a fiery variant of Strollin' Stu with bright, red skin and fire emitting from its body. If the fire are doused, a Smolderin' Stu turns dark brown.

In Super Mario Sunshine[]

Smolderin' Stus are uncommon enemies only encountered in the Pinna Park episode Mecha-Bowser Appears! as well as the Sirena Beach episode King Boo Down Below, during the King Boo boss fight. Mario can quickly defeat a Smolderin' Stu by having FLUDD spray water at it. If Mario touches a Smolderin' Stu, even from jumping on it, he gets burned.

Trivia[]

The "Bogen Multicom 2000 bell tone #2 sound effect is played whenever Mario gets burned from a Smolderin' Stu.
