A Sling Shy is an enemy in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They are a variant of Shy Guys that work for Valentina. Sling Shys mainly appear in Nimbus Land, but can also be found in Bowser's Keep.

Battle

In battle, Sling Shys attack physically with their slingshots. However, Sling Shys are known for using different status-inducing moves such as S'crow Bell to turn someone into a scarecrow, Spore Chimes to turn someone into a mushroom, or Doom Reverb to inflict the Fear status on a character.
