The Slick wheels are unlockable wheels in Mario Kart 7. They give the best speed in the game, and are only tied with the Gold Tires. Although having a great amount of speed, they lack good off-road, also like the Gold Tires, and they lack good handling, and in fact, have some of the worse handling in the game, tying with Monster, Red Monster, and Gold Tires.
The Slick Tires also appears in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
