Shorty Scorers is a 2-vs-2 minigame in Mario Party DS.
Gameplay[]
Shorty Scorers plays similar to handball, and the objective for each team is to score the most goals within 45 seconds. The minigame starts with the ball being dropped at the center of the field. A character can grab the ball and take it to the goal. Each side features a cardboard Goomba for a goalkeeper, and it moves left and right automatically. Whenever a team scores a goal into their opponent's net, that team earns a point, and the ball drops back onto the center of the field.
Whoever scores the most points by the end is the winner; each character on the winning team does their victory animation while each character on the losing team does their losing animation. If the minigame ends with both teams having the same score, it ends in a tie, and every character does their respective losing animation.
