Template:EnemySMRPGA Shogun is an enemy that appears in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Shoguns are ant-like insect creatures that can be found in Land's End and Belome Temple. In Land's End, Mario must follow the Shoguns in the sand whirls in the ground in order to make it to Belome Temple and, eventually, Monstro Town.
Battle
Shoguns are rather strong foes in battle. They mainly attack by biting at one of Mario's party. They can use Vigor Up! to increase their attack power more and usually follow up with the deadly Carni-Kiss move that may take a party member out in one hit.
Strategy
Shoguns are weak to ice meaning Mallow's Snowy or using an Ice Bomb will be effective on them. Shoguns are very strong so it is recommended to take them out as quickly as possible.
