Shining Ghost

Shining Ghosts are an enemy in Luigi's Mansion and its Nintendo 3DS version.

In Luigi's Mansion[]

Shining Ghosts only appear in the Observatory. Here, they rain down on Luigi once he looks through the telescope and notices the moon. It is possible for a Shining Ghost to damage Luigi by falling onto him. Luigi can vacuum a Shining Ghost onto the nozzle of his Poltergust 3000, and he can then shoot the Shining Ghost into the moon, which explodes as a result. However, doing so reveals a path to Mario's Star.
