Shine Sprite in the Sand is one of the secret Shine Sprites found in Delfino Plaza in Super Mario Sunshine.
Objective[]
Mario has to go to the beach next to the lighthouse. Just before the lighthouse is a hidden Shine Painting, which Mario can reveal by having FLUDD spray water at it. Once the Shine Painting is fully revealed, a Shine Sprite emerges from it and flies off hover just above a pillar near the Warp Pipe leading to Super Slide.
Mario can complete the mission at any time except while Delfino Plaza is flooded. During this, if a glitch is used to walk underwater, the Shine Painting is in a different location, around where the umbrellas are, and spraying it releases a coin instead.
