History[]

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story[]

In this game, Sergeant Guy, along with Private Goomp and Corporal Paraplonk, first see Bowser when he was searching through Dimble Wood looking for his Banzai Bill to help take down his castle that has been taken over by Fawful. Sergeant Guy says it may have feel somewhere deeper in the woods and Bowser goes to investigate. Bowser eventually comes back with the Banzai Bill and Sergeant Guy allows Bowser to fire it with his large cannon. The Banzai Bill hits Fawful's (Bowser's) Castle but it then starts to move up and down with messy fashion and then crushes Bowser. However, with help of Mario and Luigi, Bowser then suddenly grew into a giant, while surprising Sergeant Guy and the others. After Bowser defeats his castle, he enters it leaving Sergeant Guy and the others. Sergeant Guy isn't seen again until Bowser's second run through his castle. It is revealed that one of the Star Cures is located in Bowser's treasure room deep below his castle in a safe. Bowser then defeats the train and then remembers the combination and opens the safe. However, Sergeant Guy, along with Private Goomp and Corporal Paraplonk, turn on Bowser and pushes him into the safe. Sergeant Guy is excited that they will receive payment from Fawful. During the end of the game after Fawful (and the Dark Star) have been defeated, Sergeant Guy, along with the others, appear at Bowser's bed side asking for forgiveness. Bowser forgives them, then yells at them all to help rebuild the castle and Sergeant Guy and the others run off excited.

In this game, Sergeant Guy along with the others have been promoted and they assist Bowser in his world takeover with Antasma. Sergeant Guy is involved in a plan where Mario and Dreamy Luigi were fooled by a Kamek dressed as Princess Peach. Sergeant Guy, Private Goomp, and Corporal Paraplonk then all fight Mario, fused with Dreamy Luigi. However, they were beaten in the process. Angry Kamek then demotes Sergeant Guy and the others where they must now scrub Neo Bowser Castle.

Combat[]

Sergeant Guy has three attacks, one shared with his allies. He attack the Bros. by charging at them with hammers alongside Private Goomp's Goomba troops, launching a Banzai Bill from a Banzai Bill Cannon known as the Sergeant Guy Cannon which hangs in the back of the group, or chase the Bros. with a supersized Bomb that Corporal Paraplonk fetches. The first can be blocked with hammers (Hitting the real deal ends this move.), the second by mashing the appropriate button to avoid getting hit by the Banzai Bill (If the Banzai Bill hits the target, the Bros. get hurt.), and the last by jumping over Goomp's troops as they try to escape the bomb (Guy will drop his bomb on the Bro. who gets tripped up first, and the bomb explodes after 15 to 30 seconds.).

In the Elite Trio's Driftwood Shore fight, Sergeant Guy is considered a Level 23 character with 581 hit points, an attack power of 189, a defense of 166, and a speed of 75. His, Paraplonk's, and Goomp's defeats net 2100 experience, and the three yield 505 Coins, the Counter Wear, a Mushroom, and the Action Hammer as their loot drop. In the Battle Ring, Sergeant Guy (here known as Sergeant Guy X) is considered Level 33 with 1092 hit points, an attack power of 348, a defense of 323, and a speed of 114.
