"Santa Claus is Coming to Flatbush" is the sixty-third live-action segment of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. It is paired with the animated episode "Star Koopa."
Synopsis[]
It is Christmas Eve, but Mario and Luigi are very low on funds, and can only afford the cheapest of foods and presents. Luigi takes the boots off his feet and wraps them intending to give them to Mario. Mario comes back from shopping but has only two garbanzo beans for their feast. Soon a man named Nick, who resembles Santa Claus, enters the basement, and asks for the Marios' hospitality, as he lost his "transportation".
Mario feeds Nick their dinners. Luigi returns from a search claiming that he couldn't find Nick's stuff. Midnight comes and it is Christmas. The Marios go for their presents but after a comment from Nick they have pity and give him their presents: boots and a wrench. In the morning, Nick has already left, but not without leaving new presents for the Bros., and a thank-you note signed S.C. The Marios then see Santa's sleigh pass by outside, but they doubt that Nick really was Santa.

- Although this segment did not accompany the animated episode "Koopa Klaus", both segments were included together on the Super Mario Bros. Super Christmas Adventures VHS.
