Santa Claus is a character that appeared in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Koopa Klaus."
History[]
In "Koopa Klaus," Santa Claus was attempting to make Christmas presents for the good children but was kidnapped by King Koopa who is portraying as Koopa Klaus. Koopa Klaus then froze Santa's Workshop and took Santa Claus away. Eventually, Santa Claus was rescued by Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool, and Toad after Koopa Klaus gets himself trapped under snow. However, Santa Claus was saddened that his workshop was still frozen, but when Toad gave his sled to Santa, the kindness and selflessness managed to melt the ice and get the workshop up and running. Pleased, Santa Claus allows Mario and the others to accompany him on delivering presents.
