Salt is a food and key item which appears in Paper Mario.

History[]

Salt is one of many food items that is present in the kitchen when Princess Peach and Twink have to bake a cake for Gourmet Guy after the events of Chapter 4. However, as a cake must be sweet, Salt should not be added, otherwise the cake gets ruined. The Salt is one of few items that can ruin the cake alongside the Cleanser.
