Roy's HardBrick Hotel is a location in Hotel Mario.

Description

Roy's HardBrick Hotel is one of seven Koopa hotels, and it is owned by Roy Koopa, as its name would suggest. The name is a pun on the Heartbreak Hotel, a fictional hotel mentioned in a song by Elvis Presley. As its name suggests, Roy's HardBrick Hotel is built mainly out of bricks.

The enemies in Roy's HardBrick Hotel include Mini Ninjas, Parabombs, Koopas and Goombas. It has nine regular stages and a boss stage named Roy's Rowdy Rooftop.

Roy's HardBrick Hotel is the second hotel visited in Hotel Mario. After Morton Koopa Jr. is defeated in his Morton's Wood Door Hysteria Hotel, Princess Toadstool falls into the arms of Roy Koopa, who takes her to his hotel.

From outside, the lights of Roy's HardBrick Hotel are flickering inexplicably, leading Luigi to question Mario how they can find Princess Toadstool with the lights going out. Mario believes there to be a switch inside Roy's HardBrick Hotel that would solve the problem. Later on, Mario discovers that the flicker is caused by the excessive usage of electricity in the toaster room, where numerous toasters toast Bowser's Sourpuss Bread.
