Princess Rosalina
Princess Rosalina is introduced in Super Mario Galaxy. Rosalina is first seen in the Gateway Galaxy, where she leaves the Luma with Mario, however, in this encounter, Rosalina is a hologram. The first appearance of Rosalina in the flesh, is on the Comet Observatory. Rosalina seems to be the 'mother' of the Lumas, hinted by the Lumas referring to her as 'mama', although this may be because she acts as their caretaker.

Princess Rosalina appears as an unlockable character in Mario Kart Wii.To unlock her, you have to have a Super Mario Galaxy save on your Wii. During races, Princess Rosalina (referred to as 'Rosalina' in the game) has a yellow Luma circling her at all times, falling, jumping and being flung into the air with her. Rosalina keeps her traditional princess outfit, but dons a skin tight racing suit when on a motorbike.On this outfit, there is a heart covered by her hair. When her hair flies up you can see the heart on her back.
