The Roller wheels are default wheels in Mario Kart 7. They are the smallest wheels in the game. They improve acceleration and handling, but hinder the kart's speed and weight. The Roller wheels return in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe where they now underwent a heavy aesthetic design; unlike in Mario Kart 7, the Roller wheels have a red and yellow paint job.
