WarioWare

Ride the Line is the boss microgame of Dr. Crygor's High Tech level in WarioWare: Get It Together!.

Gameplay[]

The player's character has to assemble various items that match the image displayed on the monitor. They only have a limited amount of time before the conveyor belt object leaves. Whenever the objects are assembled, they dance while being carried away. Upon completion of the microgame, all of the robotic arms pinch repeatedly, a disco light appears, and an arrangement of the boss victory jingle from WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and WarioWare Gold plays.

There are two ways of losing the microgame: by the player's character either taking too long to grab the first item or placing the wrong item on the belt. In the former's case, taking too long causes the claw to briefly vibrate before dropping the item. In the latter's case, the player's character gets KO'd if they place the incorrect item on the belt.

In two-player mode, the gameplay is drastically different. Each player's assembly arm can only reach the items on their side, and the same item can appear on both sides, whether it is the correct option or not. In addition, both players may be directed to hold an item each and assemble it together. If the players win the microgame, the one who correctly assembled more parts receives an effort point, but whoever assembles an incorrect part loses an effort point.

Mission[]

  • Snack Attack: Young Cricket must hold onto every fruit part in Level 3 at least once before clearing it.
