Rat Funks are bipedal blue mice, and they have purple relatives named Alley Rats.

Rat Funks are encountered in Kero Sewers and the Forest Maze.
Battle[]
Rat Funks attack physically by slapping their tails at one of Mario's party members. They can also use Poison to try and poison a party member. However, Rat Funks often flee than fight usually escaping from battle the first chance they get.
Strategy[]
Rat Funks are weak to fire meaning Mario can use moves like Fire Orb or Super Flame to quickly take them out before they flee from battle.
