Rambi the Rhino is an Animal Friend who a recurring ally of the Kongs in the Donkey Kong games. He first appears in Donkey Kong Country.

Rambi is first encountered in Jungle Hijinxs, and he is first Animal Friend encountered overall. Rambi's abilities include his ability to bust open walls and crates, using his horn to defeat enemies, and his ability to simply defeat enemies by walking into them.
Donkey Kong Land[]
Rambi reappears in Donkey Kong Land where he, along with Expresso, are the only two Animal Buddies, both returning from Donkey Kong Country. Rambi remains the same as he did in Donkey Kong Country.
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest/Land 2[]
Rambi makes his third appearance in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest.
In the game, Rambi is once again first Animal Friend found. He retains all of his abilities from the original Donkey Kong Country, but now has a new move calling the Supercharge Attack. This attack has Rambi charge up. Then after his charge up, Rambi runs at high speeds to defeat many enemies at once. He can also break open sensitive barriers more easy to enter Bonus Levels.
Donkey Kong Land 2[]
Rambi's fourth appearance is in Donkey Kong Land 2 itself. Here, Rambi has all his abilities which all return from Donkey Kong Country 2 does have, with the exception of the Supercharge Attack.
Donkey Kong 64[]
Rambi's residence is at Jungle Japes and Hideout Helm. Rambi can only be played as if Donkey hops onto an Animal Crate with Rambi's face on it.
In Mario franchise[]
A kart called Rambi Rider is Donkey Kong's kart in Mario Kart DS which is based on Rambi.
