"Can everyone please stop telling jokes and start actually helping?!"
BJJ Wendy O Koopa and Captains Wendy O. Koopa is not happy. She has spotted broken links on this article. You can help her by creating some of the articles!
This article is about the character. For a minigame starring him, see Pyoro (minigame).

Pyoro is a recurring character in the WarioWare series. He first appears in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. Pyoro also stars in his own DSiWare game, Bird & Beans.

Profile[]

Most WarioWare games feature Pyoro as the star of his own unlockable minigame, most of which can be unlocked by playing every microgame at least once. In Diamond City itself, Pyoro is a popular video game character.

Physical description[]

Pyoro is a red bird with a long tongue, which he uses to grab Beans, much like Yoshis do to grab berries and other items. Pyoro's name and design was inspired from Kyorochan, a bird who is the mascot of the Morinaga cholocate "Choco-Ball."

In WarioWare series[]

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$![]

Pyoro game case WWIMM

Pyoro, as depicted on the fictional Game Boy Advance game starring himself

In the opening, Pyoro is seen on the box art for a fictional Game Boy Advance game starring Pyoro. Seeing the game's success drives Wario to form his company, WarioWare, Inc.,

In the Pyoro minigame, the player controls Pyoro as he snags falling vegetables with his tongue to prevent from destroying the floor. Pyoro's tongue shoots out diagonally, so he must stand a small distance away from the vegetable to catch it. If there is no more ground left or if Pyoro gets hit on the head, this results in a Game Over. There is another minigame titled Pyoro 2, in which a yellow Pyoro has to spit seeds at the falling vegetables.

WarioWare: Twisted![]

PYORO R

Pyoro stars in another unlockable minigame, PYORO R, in which he has to defend flowers from incoming enemies. Unlike the previous game, Pyoro does not extend his tongue, but rather does so with his beak. Aside from this, Pyoro is also in charge of the Prize Machine, and whenever the player unlocks a souvenir, a scene of Pyoro carrying it onscreen is shown.

WarioWare: Touched![]

Pyoro stars in Pyoro T. Like in WarioWare: Twisted!'s PYORO R, the object is for Pyoro to once again defend the flowers in the garden from enemies, but Pyoro can now use his tongue to attack again, like in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!'s Pyoro minigame.

Aside from appearing in minigames, Pyoro is also seen in the Options menu.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves[]

Pyoro stars within the minigame Pyoro S. Pyoro now has the ability to fly using his short, stubby wings. He flies through the air while spearing insects with his beak, and Pyoro has to avoid being knocked out of the air by them. Pyoro sometimes has to fight a spine-shooting, six-eyed circle monster. Pyoro can also eat apples to earn points and receive a power-up, which differs depending on the color of the apple: a blue apple extends Pyoro's tongue to become longer; an orange apple summons two small Pyoros to fly in formation and attack enemies; and a red apple gives Pyoro a flower barrier that can absorb bugs and make Pyoro grow larger temporarily.

Game & Wario[]

Pyoro stars in another minigame of his own, Bird.
