Puzzle Panel is a mini-game found in Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros.. You must match the picture on the bottom screen to the one on top.
To do that, the player must touch one of the squares in the bottom picture. The square and the squares that are next to it are flipped and change their image and color, making a move. The player must match the two pictures in a certain number of moves (the Yoshi statue to the left says the number of moves left); otherwise the player loses a life. The Yoshi statue to the right says the number of lives left; the player starts with three lives. If the player solves the puzzle, a harder puzzle appears, which may be larger and take more turns to complete. The player must try to solve as many puzzles as possible before losing all lives.
