Puni Elder

The Puni Elder is an old Puni who leads the Puni tribe in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He lives inside The Great Tree in the center of Boggly Woods.

History[]

He has a short temper, and whenever he yells at someone, he grows to a tremendous size. During Mario's quest, he gave him the Puni Orb. As he is old and has bad hearing, the Puni Elder often mispronounces Mario's name as "Marty-O." He also once mispronounced Princess Peach's name, saying "Princess Pinch" instead. When Bowser goes to The Great Tree and Kammy Koopa ends up arguing with the Elder. Bowser can say, "Hag VS Hag, Awesome!" or "You guys are BOTH too old. Har...." The Elder will break his back at that point.

The Puni Elder is also involved in a small routing letter quest as a trouble from the Trouble Center. He also has his own request that involves bringing him a Life Shroom.
