Pro Goombas, named Gu Goombas in the original game, are a stronger variant of Goomba in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and its Nintendo Switch remake. They are only encountered in Bowser's Keep toward the end of the game.

Battle

In battle, Pro Goombas tend to act confused and sometimes attack themselves and others. However, they can use the move Thornet that may Poison one of Mario's party.

Strategy

Pro Goombas are rather weak enemies and even the simplest attack should finish them in one hit.
