Prisma Museum is a hidden museum in Paper Mario: Color Splash. Any Battle Cards that Mario obtains throughout the game can be collected and donated to the museum. When the card is placed in the museum, you can view the details and image of that particular card at any time.

Description[]

The Prisma Museum is seperated into five different exhibits: the Basic Cards, the Enemy Cards, the Thing Cards, the Art Exhibit, and the Sound Gallery. If Mario has any cards in his inventory that can be donated, a star above the appropriate door will light up. Every exhibit is run by a different pink Toad behind a desk. In each exhibit, Mario can speak to the Toad to make a donation and view them using the display center.

In Paper Mario: Color Splash[]

Prisma Museum is found in the Action Command Dojo in the Yellow District of Port Prisma. The first incounter with the owner occurs near the blue Mini Paint Star when the Card Connoisseur Toad takes Mario's cards to observe them. After defeating the Shy Guy using the Battle Spin feature, the Card Connoisseur Toad will give back the battle cards and leave. The museum is accessable when Mario meets with the Card Connoisseur Toad at the dojo after receiving a letter from Prisma Postal.

Art Exhibit[]

By donating enough cards, Mario can unlock and view concept art for the game in the art exhibit. Each time Mario reaches a certain milestone in the number of donated Battle Cards, eight concept art pieces are added to the exhibit. In total there are 40 art pieces.

Sound Gallery[]

In the sound gallery, the player can listen to music from the game, which is unlocked by receiving gold flags for 100% painted stages.

The Prisma Museum accepts every Battle Card in the game that hasn't been donated yet, not counting the Huey Thing card and Roshambo cards. This makes up a grand total of 60 Basic Cards, 72 Enemy Cards, and 27 Thing Cards. After these card collections are complete, the chandelier hanging in the lobby will light up.

Trivia[]

  • While inside the Prisma Museum, Mario can't swing his Paint Hammer.
