Princess Daisy made her debut in Super Mario Land for the Game Boy, where she was princess of the monochrome Sarasaland. The premise of the game is that Daisy has been kidnapped by the evil alien, Tatanga, who wishes to take over the peaceful kingdom by marrying her, whether she likes it or not.

Daisy Was shown to be Luigi's love interest in Mario Kart Wii in wich has statuse of Daisy and luigi holding hands as nintendo power said "Love is in the air. Daisy appears as Luigi's caddy in golf, and as a trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee, it is stated that Daisy is Luigi's Peach. Also, on the Daisy-themed track from Mario Kart Wii, there are giant statues of her and Luigi holding hands, as well as her baby version holding hands with Luigi's baby version.
