In Super Mario series[]

Super Mario Land[]

Daisy SML

Daisy made her debut in Super Mario Land as the damsel-in-distress. At the end the first three worlds, after Mario defeats the boss, he finds Daisy, soon revealed to be an enemy disguised as her. The real Daisy appears at the end of the game after the player defeats Tatanga.

Super Mario Run[]

Daisy appeared in Super Mario Run on the Ver. 3.0.4 update[1]. Daisy was lost in Remix 10 and she can be unlocked at Area 30. When Mario meets Daisy, Daisy enthusiastically says "Thank you!" while both of them reach their fist to the air. Her Mario Kart 7 artwork was used in the game. Daisy can perform a Double Jump when playing as her.[2]

Princess Daisy is one of the playable characters.

In Mario Golf series[]

NES Open Tournament Golf[]

Daisy made a cameo as Luigi's caddy. She also commentates while he is playing golf.

Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour[]

This is Daisy's first playable appearance in a Mario Golf game, and she is a default character. This is also the first game in which she wears her two-piece athletic uniform. Daisy is automatically partnered with Peach in Doubles matches.

Daisy has a greater shot distance than most characters, with a drive of 213 yards and a Star Drive of 270 yards. Her shots are high, making it easy to recover from traps and shoot over obstacles, although is more easily affected by the wind speed. If Daisy gets a Nice Shot, her ball soars through the air in a burst of flower petals. Daisy also has a good Spin and above-average Impact.

Mario Golf: World Tour[]

Daisy reappeared in Mario Golf: World Tour as a default playable character. Instead of wearing her two-piece uniform, she wears a sports dress, similar to what was seen in Mario Sports Mix.

Mario Golf: Super Rush[]

Daisy once again appears as a playable character in Mario Golf: Super Rush. She is seen wearing a specialized golfing outfit, but her skin is slightly tanned and hair is a bit browner.

In Super Mario Bros. Print World[]

Princess Daisy makes a cameo appearance as one of the usable graphics. However, it erroneously shows the blonde hair and pink dress of Peach. There is also a graphic misnamed "Mario & Daisy," which is actually a graphic of Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool based on one of their artworks for Super Mario Bros. 2.

In Mario Tennis series[]

Mario Tennis (Nintendo 64)[]

Daisy marked her overall playable appearance as a "Technique" character.

At first, the planning department of Camelot came up with an idea to put in an evil version of Peach, but Shigeru Miyamoto opposed it and recommended that Daisy should be on the bill instead. Since then, Daisy went on to have a hugely successful career as she appeared in future spin-off installments.

Mario Tennis (Game Boy Color)[]

Daisy is a supporting character in Exhibition Mode in Mario Tennis for the Game Boy Color. Daisy compliments the player after he/she is invited to "Mario's World".

Mario Power Tennis[]

Daisy retains her role of being a playable character. She is wearing her two-piece athletic uniform, just like in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. She is a Technique character, and her partner in Doubles matches is Peach.

During the opening cinematic, Daisy is briefly seen returning the ball during a doubles match against Yoshi and Donkey Kong. Eventually, the princess tandem is eliminated. During the night of the final match, Daisy sees Toadette sitting on a bench next to the tennis court, feeling lonely and nervous. Concerned for Toadette's welfare and emotions, Daisy sits next to Toadette to help keep her comfortable. After the final match ends, Daisy and Toadette embrace as a means of friendship.

Mario Tennis Open[]

Daisy returns as a default playable character, and is classified as a Technical character. For this installment, Daisy wears her sports dress.

Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash[]

Daisy reappeared in Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash as a default playable character. She is classified as an All-Around character, unlike the previous Mario Tennis installments. Daisy inhabits her two-piece athletic uniform again.

Mario Tennis Aces[]

Daisy reappeared in Mario Tennis Aces as a default playable character. She once again mans her two-piece athletic uniform, but her footwear is replaced by hard cross-trainer shoes. She is classified as an All-Around character with Mario and Luigi. Daisy is also playable in Adventure Mode with Mario and Peach. The player can only play as Daisy or Peach when they compete against Wario and Waluigi, who are under Lucien's control.

In Adventure Mode, everyone left Marina Stadium. After Mario claimed all Power Stones, Mario, Peach and Daisy competed against Luigi, Wario and Waluigi separately. However, Bowser stole Lucien and went to Bask Ruins. Mario ran to Bask Ruins and defeated Bowcien. After Lucien and the temple was destroyed, Aster thanked Mario. Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi were free from Lucien's control. Daisy became disappointed in Wario and Waluigi for "not learning anything", but was impressed with Mario after being the only capable source of stopping Lucien, and feels that there is hope for the future as she and Mario part ways once more.

Princess Daisy serves as a playable character in the Mario Party series, who has made a playable debut ever since Mario Party 3 and has appeared in all the Mario Party games since, except for Mario Party Advance.

In Mario Kart series[]

Mario Kart: Double Dash!![]

Daisy makes her Mario Kart debut in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. Peach is her default partner and the Bloom Coach is her predominant kart. The Heart is Daisy's default special item. Her track, Daisy Cruiser appears in the Flower Cup.

Mario Kart DS[]

Daisy is an unlockable middleweight driver in Mario Kart DS. The Power Flower and the Standard DS are her default karts. Daisy can use the Light Dancer after the player won gold trophies for all Nitro or Retro courses. In order to unlock Daisy, the player must obtain all gold trophies in the 50cc Retro courses.

Mario Kart Wii[]

Daisy is an unlockable middleweight driver in Mario Kart Wii. The player can play as Daisy after achieving first place in the 150cc Special Cup. Her infant counterpart, Baby Daisy, makes her debut in this game. Additionally, Daisy Circuit appears in the Special Cup. Daisy is the staff ghost for this course, as well as Coconut Mall.

Mario Kart 7[]

Daisy is an unlockable lightweight driver in Mario Kart 7. The player can play as Daisy after they win the 150cc Mushroom Cup. Additionally, Daisy has two courses, Daisy Hills and Daisy Cruiser.

Mario Kart 8/Deluxe[]

Daisy is a default lightweight driver in Mario Kart 8 and Deluxe. Daisy's course does not appear although there are a few courses with Daisy-related features.

In Mario Baseball series[]

Mario Superstar Baseball[]

Daisy appears as a playable character, and she wears the same two-piece sports uniform as in Mario Superstar Baseball. She is billed in the Balance category. Her battling is good, while her pitching and fielding are high-leveled, but her speed is mediocre. She has good chemistry with Luigi, Peach, and Toadette.

In the opening cinematic, Daisy along with Peach and Red Toad are seen blacking out, fearing that Mario is going to be tagged out when Donkey Kong attempts to receive the ball. Mario makes a desperate leap, evading Donkey Kong and scores the game's first run. Next in line, Daisy fields a ball, passes it over to Peach, and then to Yoshi to get Waluigi out at home plate. After Mario hits a walk-off home run, Daisy and other storm the field and celebrate.

Mario Super Sluggers[]

Daisy is a balanced character, but she has more technique, and is available from the start. She is the vice captain in Peach's team. Her special shot, the Flower Ball, makes the ball she hits disappear in a burst of flowers and reappear at a different location. Her pitch has a similar effect. Daisy has good chemistry with Peach, Luigi, Birdo, and Toadette. She is available from the start in Exhibition Mode, but must be unlocked in Story Mode. This is the first game to show Peach and Daisy share dialogue with each other, where Peach shows concern for Daisy after Bowser Jr. turned her into a statue.

In the opening cinematic, Daisy is one of the six characters to ride on a yacht, arriving at the Baseball Kingdom. As the group arrives, they meet up with Peach and Toadsworth. Peach escorts them to the lighthouse as they climb up the summit to view the island. Upon arrival at Mario Stadium, Daisy brandishes a Wii Remote and transforms it into a baseball bat. Mario throws the ball to Daisy as she hits it. The next moment, Daisy and the Red Toad panic after Donkey Kong performs a body check on Luigi, who is trying to catch the ball. They discovered that Luigi caught the ball, and the Lakitu calls the final out as everyone storms the field to celebrate.

After Bowser and Bowser Jr.'s unexpected visit, Mario socializes with a Red Toad, who complains to Mario that Bowser Jr. transformed Daisy into a statue.[3] After defeating Bowser Jr. in a baseball game, Daisy returned to normal in stable condition. As Peach arrived for Daisy, she showed concern to Daisy who assumed that they helped her return to normal. Daisy got off the weight, but Peach realized that the flood rose again, and Daisy had no choice but to wait by standing on the weight until someone retrieved a spare statue to take her place on the weight. Afterwards, Daisy offered a thousand thanks and joined forces with the other characters to compete in the war against Bowser's army.

During the third cinematic, which plays after defeating Bowser in a decisive game, Daisy is seen in the center of the diamond, greeting and celebrating with the other characters. Afterwards, the crew marches to the entrance of the Baseball Kingdom to look towards the binary sunset until the lights turn on for the night.

During the fourth and final cinematic, Daisy marches with other characters to the Daisy Cruiser, where the field becomes an outdoor buffet with desserts and beverages. Daisy stands by one table between Toadette and Yoshi until a display of fireworks storm the night sky, shocking and surprising those who witness it. The characters retreat to Mario Stadium, where the source of the fireworks was actually coming from in regards of a Bob-omb Derby contest.

Daisy is a playable offensive captain. She is portrayed mainly as a sassy, ready-to-win, confident girl. Daisy's team number is 9, and her Mega Strike is named Torpedo Strike, in which Daisy emblems appear behind the ball. Her and Peach both have a stadium called The Palace.

For this installment, Daisy is entrusted a specialized soccer uniform to fit the theme more fluently. The jersey negates her midriff and the shorts are a bit longer than the one of her regular uniform. Both pieces of the build are orange with emerald green stripes on the sides. She also wears hard high tops that are emerald green with orange high socks, completing the build of the uniform.

Mario Strikers Charged[]

Daisy returns as a playable character. This time, instead of being an offensive captain, she is billed as a defensive captain. Daisy's main color theme is still orange, with her team number still being 9. Daisy's special ability is Crystal Smash!. This ability allows Daisy to punch to ground which summons a ring of huge orange crystals. These crystals hail all over and can knock out anybody that is near Daisy. Daisy's main outfit is orange gear with a slight flower pattern. Her alternate outfit is colored emerald green. Her striker uniform is the same as seen in the prequel, but this time, pieces of armor overlap it due to the game's intensity.

Mario Strikers: Battle League[]

Daisy was first announced, on July 19, 2022, to be added in the first free update in July 21st, 2022. As of now, Daisy is a playable character, like in the previous two Mario Strikers installments. She is still portrayed with orange gear and her team number being 9. Daisy's Mega Striker is called Flower Spiral. Her character type is technique.

In Mario Hoops 3-on-3[]

Daisy is among the playable characters, and she is classified as Technical. Daisy's Special Shot is the Flower Shot, and when she uses it, Daisy hovers in midair to kick the ball into the basketball hoop. Daisy has her own basketball court named Daisy Garden. Daisy has an alternate outfit that can be unlocked by completing the Flower Cup.

In Mario Sports Mix[]

Daisy returns as a playable character, being of the Technical type like in Mario Hoops 3-on-3. Her personal court, Daisy Garden, also makes a return. Daisy is generally unavailable to play as in Volleyball.

Daisy makes a cameo appearance as a trophy. It has a oddity where if one zooms into the hair on the back of Daisy's head, they can see a third eye. Aside from this, one of Peach's alternate costumes is based on Daisy, but has a more tanned complexion.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl[]

Daisy once again makes a cameo appearance as a trophy, this time in her striker uniform. She is referenced in one of Peach's alternate costumes.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[]

Daisy makes another cameo as a trophy, and her colors are referenced in one of Peach's alternate costumes. In the 3DS version, she is seen wearing her sports dress with a tennis racket in possession. In the Wii U version, one trophy shows her in her standard appearance and the other one shows her in their athletic uniform with a baseball glove.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[]

Daisy has been introduced as a playable character, and she is an echo fighter of Peach.[4][5] Daisy's design is based off her default dress, but her aesthetics are complementary to Peach's dress.

In Classic Mode, her opponents are all princesses in their respective franchise. Her route, Sarasaland Represent! mentions her native region.

Daisy appeared in the World of Light gameplay, but absent in the opening cinematic. She is one of fighters to be caught by Galeem's light beams and fell under Dharkon's control. Daisy can be recruited in the Dracula's Castle sub-area, where a ghost guards her. The fighter must free Dry Bowser's spirit in order to use the cannon the destroy the ghost.

Yakuman DS[]

Daisy is an unlockable character in Yakuman DS. Daisy is rated three stars. As an opponent, Daisy will attempt using riichi, to add the extra yaku and perform a closed tsumo.

In other media[]

Game Boy[]

Daisy is also featured in a series of comic books titled Game Boy, in which Tatanga escapes from the Game Boy world to try and take over the in-universe real world. Despite being Tatanga's captive, Daisy did not show any restraint, as she instead often tried to politely talk Tatanga out of his conquest, since he was in love with her so she thought she could persuade him.

Super Mario-kun[]

Daisy made her first appearance in Super Mario-kun Vol 27.

Super Mario Bros. (1993 film)[]

The Super Mario Bros. Movie[]

Daisy never appeared in the movie, but Daisy's emblem can be seen on a poster in Mushroom Kingdom.[6]
