Prince Mush (プリンス・マッシュ Purinsu Masshu?) is a character who appears in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He has a sister named Jolene.
Physical description[]
Prince Mush has magenta spots on his mushroom head, yellow hair similar to Jolene's, white shoes, and a blue sports outfit with white outlines. He always has a cheerful smile on.
Biography[]
He fought in the Glitz Pit for coins. He became the first ever champion, yet Grubba used his machine that was powered by a Crystal Star to suck out his power.
In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door[]
When Mario and company defeated Grubba in his ultra powerful form, Macho Grubba, and took the Crystal Star from the machine, Prince Mush got his power back and hopped out of the machine. This allows him to reunite with Jolene (who had been aiding Mario as 'X' for a while).
In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch)[]
In the remake, Prince Mush's role has been significantly expanded upon. Unlike in the original where Prince Mush disappears from the game after he is rescued at the end of Chapter 3, Prince Mush can now be found in the halls of the Glitz Pit. After completing Jolene's "Help wanted" trouble, Prince Mush will then send an email to Mario wanting to face the current champion in an exhibition match. Prince Mush can be challenged anytime after this trouble and proves himself to be a very fierce some opponent. After being defeated, Prince Much rewards Mario with his personal belt as a sign of respect and gratitude.
