Prince Froggy

Prince Froggy is a Frog Pirate who first appears as a boss in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its Game Boy Advance remake Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. Prince Froggy lives in a swampy area, and his stage is the fortress of World 3, Prince Froggy's Fort.

Battle[]

At the very beginning of the battle, Kamek uses his magic to shrink the Yellow Yoshi down to microscopic size, enabling Prince Froggy to swallow him whole. Prince Froggy then pits the Yellow Yoshi against his true weak point (paralleling where the uvula would go). The Yoshi has to avoid the drops of acid and use the Shy Guys that appear to damage that core. After enough hits, Yoshi escapes through the now-defeated Prince Froggy's digestive system, reverting back to his normal size.

In Tetris Attack[]

Here, he is simply named Froggy, and replaces Elias the water fairy from Panel de Pon. Froggy is the fourth boss in the Game Boy version and the fifth boss in the Super Nintendo Entertainment System version, and he is partnered with a Clawdaddy.

Trivia[]

The fact that the weak point Prince Froggy has within his body resembles an uvula is unusual since real frogs lack uvulas.
Prince Froggy is the only boss within the game that is not enlarged.
